The merge has enabled us to establish policies and procedures in line with national standards, develop a stronger presence in Asian markets and increase the available product and number of beds Australia-wide.
The Cairns head office manages all enquiries but there are farm host and technical visit locations Australia wide.
AusID Global training programs assist academic programs and long-term International students learn how their individual personality traits affect them in life and in learning.
It provides them with a greater Self Awareness and Integrated Life Skills that provides them with strategies that assist with their immersion into the Australian Culture and Lifestyle more effectively.
These strategies, along with additional skills such as learning how to understand what others are saying, increasing confidence and self-esteem can ultimately reduce disengagement, depression or other mental health conditions that sometimes arise with our international students while studying abroad.
Academic Study Programs, with a Purpose, (ASP) are ambitious, innovative and outcome focused programs that follow the United Nations SDGs throughout their program.
Participants study in and OUT OF THE CLASSROOM with programs created in collaboration with their school and put in place before arrival.
Furthermore, participants will become ambassadors of the Great Barrier Reef and the Rainforest upon completion of their program, which enables them to connect to our region and be part of the ongoing commitment to our city and to the management of our environment.
Covid19 closed our borders forcing the cancellation of thousands of students on our study tour, homestay, farmstay and internship programs.
Our programs are once in a lifetime experiences, so we felt it necessary to somehow deliver a similar experience. We created Great Barrier Reef Academy, a virtual on-line education platform incorporating education webinars, live interactive edu-tourism options, and intercultural experiences.
Our special addition is our Study Travel Bot, an Intelligence Presence Robot who chats and livestreams our classes abroad. Our programs are themed, include focused learning with measured outcomes and can be tailor-made. We enable an ongoing connection to region by making students citizens of the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns Ambassadors and by providing GPS coordinates to a tree planted on their behalf.
